I was at Target last night when a little boy about 3 or 4 years-old walked by me. He was singing the theme song to "Scooby Doo , Where Are You?" That made me smile.

Watch Out!

Okay , here's the situation. I ordered a new watch on-line yesterday. The red and black festina watch pictured. I saw it in a catalog for $125.00 , but I found a store on-line that had it on sale for $93.75. So , I told my Mom about it and she said that if I wanted that watch I should order it and she would pay me for it later. It would be an early birthday present for me. 2 and a half months early! Anyway , while ordering that watch I saw another Festina watch that I really liked , but this watch cost $195.00. So , eventhough I liked it , I decided to buy the other watch. Well , this morning I went back to the store's website and I looked at the Festina watches again. The watch that I liked which sold for $195.00 was on sale today only for $153.00! I really liked this watch and it was now on sale! So , I ordered it. I know this sounds crazy , but I really did like this watch! So , I will have two new watches arriving early next week!

I bought this Jerry Garcia tie today at Macy's. I figured since Jerry's ties are so well received when they are worn , I would buy one. I could not find a picture of this tie on-line , so I had to take a picture of it myself and post it on-line.

Pics From The Coast Guard Festival!

Today I went to the Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven , MI. It was the first time that I have gone to it. I toured two Coast Guard ships today. The first ship I toured was the CCGS/NGCC Griffon which is a Canadian Coast Guard ship. It was a very nice ship. The crew members seemed to be pretty nice and even said "Eh?" a few times! LOL! The Canadian ship was the first one they have sent to the Coast Guard Festival in 8 years. The next ship I toured was the US Mackinaw , which is a US Coast Guard ship. That was a nice ship as well. The smaller boat there was a boat based out of Cleveland ,Oh. It was a fun day.
